This paper established one of the fundamental methodologies we use in our ergonomic and anthropometric research within the Apparel Design Engineering research group. Every paper relating to 3D Body Scanning I have published since this paper has used it and the result has been higher precision in my research and more appropriateness of outputs for industry.
