A comment piece comparing the early response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa with that of Covid-19 in the UK, in terms of Behavioral Science

Why is it important?
During the early days of Ebola there seemed to be an assumption that the response to a similar outbreak of a deadly infectious disease in the UK would be very difference. In fact there are remarkable similarities.
Perspectives

I have knowledge and involvement of both outbreaks and was in a relatively unique position to observe the unfolding Scenario in relation to the UK outbreak of Covid -19 in comparison to the outbreak of Ebola. In terms of behavioral Science this confirms to me that 'people are people' !
