What is it about?
Homelessness is a growing problem in the UK, many homeless people don’t access primary care services and have complex physical and mental health needs. They often present at hospital in crisis and die in inappropriate settings unsupported by Healthcare Professionals. This article explores the possibility of District Nurses bridging the gap in care to homeless people at the End of Life.

Why is it important?
This work generates conversation around homeless health and offers some solutions to a gap in healthcare provision. It is timely due to the growing number of homeless people in the UK.
Perspectives
I hope that this article gets people talking and raising the issue of inequitable care for homeless people, and giving a voice to some of the most vulnerable and marginalised groups in society.
