What is it about?
Shock wave pressure and Wavefront temperature are important technical indicators to evaluate the damage power of ammunition. In the test process, the shock wave pressure test is easier than the Wavefront temperature test, and the test results are more accurate. Based on the dimensional analysis method, we constructed the functional relationship between the shock wave pressure and the Wavefront temperature. The results are of great significance to the study of the temperature distribution law of ammunition explosion.

Why is it important?
Our results show that there is a significant correlation between the peak pressure of explosion shock wave and the peak temperature of Wavefront. The constructed mapping function relationship provides theoretical and data support for evaluating the explosive damage power of ammunition and guiding ammunition design.
