What is it about?

We have investigated the effect of different magnesium doping in the EBL and we proposed a formula to fit the optical power degradation for UV-C LEDs. The model is based on the diffusion of ions (possibly hydrogen ions) from the p-side, and especially the EBL, toward the active region that limits the defect generation rate, leading to a longer LED lifetime.
