What is it about?

The presence of a sloble target in immunogenicity testing makes the determination of the presence of ADAs very challenging. Soluble target can mask the epitopes of the reagents, resulting in false negative readout, or produce a false positive signal (multimers). In the case of pre treatment (binding the same soluble target, but at a different epitope comared to the administered drug), the determination of ADA can become even more challenging.

Why is it important?

We could demonstrate that a isoelectric target depletion (ITaD) could significantly reduce the concentration of soluble target without the use of target specific reagents.
