What is it about?
This paper presents the investigation of Electromagnetic waves in layered medium. It examined that how far in depth the waves can penetrate using different frequencies to detect the presence of hydrocarbon reservoir in offshore environment.

Why is it important?
Efficient detection of hydrocarbon reservoir is highly needed to full fill the energy demands. Beside many factors, selection of the frequency that can help to detect then reservoir efficiently can solve many challenges in the domain.
Perspectives
While writing this paper, a big challenge was to keep it simple and understandable to the the common reader. Reviewing and editing took way longer than the actual write up. A good thing was good scientific relationship between me and the rest of the authors. Without them, it could not be possible.
