What is it about?

The patronage of traditional bone setters in Nigeria and other developing countries is high despite the availability of modern orthopaedic services. There are many reasons why injured patients visit the traditional bone setters. These reasons cut across educational and socioeconomic barriers. We explored the various reasons why patients that presented to our hospital patronized these practitioners.
