What is it about?
The Discovery Interview methodology was evaluated as a tool for family and staff engagement with the goal of improving the experience of childhood cancer. Parents of children with cancer were interviewed and their story was recorded, transcribed,, de-identified, condensed and read back to clinical teams. Discussion followed with the teams about how to improve the service in relation to service processes, family support and individual clinical practice. This paper evaluated this methodology from the perpective of families and staff.
