What is it about?

Treatment of dry eye induced global changes in tear proteins

Featured Image

Why is it important?

So far only two other reports evaluated longitudinal changes in global tear proteins after treatment of dry eye One focused on diquafosol which is an eyedrop that increased tear secretion. Our report focused on tear protein changes after eight sessions of acupuncture. This agrees with a previous study that found lacrimal supportive proteins to be increased after acupuncture
