Why is it important?

Our work focus on the environmental and social sustainability perspectives from the point of view of the wine growing sector. We analyze the challenge from the producers' side in terms of bridging the still substantial knowledge gaps in terms of perceived environmental benefits, economic benefits and costs. On the other side, consumers have to improve the understanding and use of sustainable labels and claims.

Perspectives

The review analyses the most important environmental and social aspects that define a sustainable wine growing sector. The analysis highlights on some tools that could be successfully used to implement marketing strategies in the wine sector.
