What is it about?
Hardfacing was produced using an alternative technique. Different carbides are present in the microstructures, giving ri-se different hardness. The wear, evaluated in a severe environment was proporcional to the hardness. However, in a mild system this is not true. We compared at the end the tested system with another one, showing the extrinsic response of hardfacing.
