What is it about?

The innovation ecosystem of the city cluster in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River is decomposed into three sub-modules: the interaction between the direct subject of innovation, the interaction between the direct subject of innovation and the indirect subject of innovation, and the interaction between the direct subject of innovation and the environment of innovation. The system dynamics model is constructed and five types of scenario simulations are designed. Analyze the key factors affecting the innovation ecosystem.

Why is it important?

We found that: 1) The changes in the number of universities and research institutes in the urban agglomeration innovation network have a more obvious impact on the number of patents applied for school-enterprise cooperation, and basically no impact on the innovation capabilities of enterprises. The increase in the number of companies has an increase in the number of patents applied for school-enterprise cooperation. There is a marginal incremental effect on the impact of the enterprise; 2) The proportion of enterprise R&D investment has a certain lag in the operating performance of the urban agglomeration innovation ecosystem; 3) The perfection of innovation platforms and intermediary institutions has a promoting effect on the operating performance of the urban agglomeration innovation ecosystem; 4) The degree of government support has a certain lag in the operational performance of the innovation ecosystem of urban agglomerations, but it has a greater impact on the innovation capabilities of enterprises; 5) The degree of infrastructure perfection has a significant impact on the number of patents applied for school-enterprise cooperation and the number of technological achievements. Positive and significant impact.

Perspectives

I hope this article can point out the direction for the optimization of the development path of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, and further propose countermeasures to improve the innovation ecosystem of the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and promote its sound evolutionary development, and provide decision-making support for promoting the orderly and healthy development of the innovation ecosystem. At the same time, It also provides inspiration and reference for carrying out similar research and practice in other regions.
