What is it about?

Electromagnetic crimping is the advanced solid-state joining technique for similar and nonsimilar materials. It is a high-speed process that can complete the joining within a microsecond effectively.

Why is it important?

We studied the effect of different groove parameters on joint strength achieved which is considered as the quality of the process. Based on the effect of groove width and depth on joint strength, we proposed a design guideline using the width-to-depth ratio. The proposed design guideline can be significantly used for better joint quality.

Perspectives

The article was written for technically mastered people who are mainly working in the area of the nonconventional manufacturing process. Because of multiple numbers of reviews, the article becomes well written and structured. I hope people can easily understand and will gain a good knowledge about electromagnetic crimping process by reading our article.
