Why is it important?
The information provided in this work draws attention to issues commonly faced by women in academia and can be used as a guide for young and aspiring researchers. Women can have a hard time advancing through academia due to the inherent gender disparity that is present within modern society. By vocalizing such issues, it becomes possible to incite change for a future where gender equality becomes the norm.
Perspectives
I believe that this work contains valuable information not only for women in academia but also for men in academia. It is easy to read and can easily attract the attention of anyone who wishes to become or already is a part of academia.
