Perspectives

This work, in my opinion, is the first rigorous statistical method to use Hi-C data to reconstruct the spatial organization of an entire chromosome. The key is the use of the powerful sequential Monte Carlo (SMC) algorithm. One of the best use case of SMC to solve a real scientific problem.
