An open-source software to track cytoskeletal fibers in living cells

What is it about?

Understanding the motion of migratory cells is fundamental in many areas i.e. cancer metastasis. Main driver of cell motion is the cytoskeleton. We developed an open-source software with easy-to-use graphical user interface to aid researchers in tracking and analysing cytoskeletal fibers in bulk and as single objects over time.

Why is it important?

Cytoskeletal composition is often analysed for single points in time or in fixed cells. Following the whole network over time and trackingn all individual parts will give deeper understanding between morphology and cell behavior.
