What is it about?

Protecting the mental health of university students is an important issue worldwide. However, no clear answer has been found as to what kind of response would help address this issue. We sought to re-research the vast amount of data that has been reported to date to identify particularly important factors related to mental health among university students.

Why is it important?

A number of psychotherapeutic approaches have been proposed to protect mental health, but few have been tailored to the realities of university students. Our findings shed light on the mental health of university students and the factors involved, which have not been accurately examined in the past. Our findings provide a cornerstone to enable the development of mental health protection and promotion programs for university students.

Perspectives

We have been working with college students on their mental health. We sincerely hope that young people, who are the future of various countries, can learn and grow in a healthy way. For them, studying at university is hectic and they may not have time to protect their mental health. We hope that our research will provide information that can support their mental health in a simple and precise way.
