What is it about?

Actions to improve health are implemented within complex systems. As a result, their impacts may be unexpected and hard to predict. It is important to use an evaluation approach that can make sense of how an intervention may (or may not) create change within systems. This paper presents a framework for process evaluation, drawing on a complex systems perspective.
