What is it about?
Investigates if there may be hidden patterns in the gender ratio at birth

Why is it important?
Gender ratio analysis is fiendishly complicated. Gender ratio is obviously under strict biological balance and gets complicated by Poisson randomness, however, other studies have show that the gender ratio does rise and fall in parallel with unexplained rise/fall in medical admissions and deaths.
Perspectives
On its own this paper would just be a curiosity, however, when taken as part of a far longer series of studies investigating unexplained higher periods of deaths and medical admissions it heads toward another piece in a complex jigsaw revealing a bigger picture, a glimpse of the bigger picture is available at http://www.hcaf.biz/2010/Publications_Full.pdf
