Why is it important?

There may be nurses working in secondary/tertiary care who would like to know more about moving into primary care and what opportunities might be available for them. This provides a first hand experience to explore this option further.

Perspectives

This is a personal reflection on the experience I have had transitioning from secondary to primary care settings, having worked in hospitals for the majority of my career. Primary care is a very different setting to hospital working and this captures some of the opportunities I have had as a result of changing setting.
