What is it about?
This is a concise description of how a form of non invasive microscopy can be useful in the eye clinic

Why is it important?
Because of the large magnification of the imaging, this will prove to be useful in study of cornea diseases, corneal nerves and structures such as meibomian glands.
Perspectives
More studies need to be done to standardise the use of invivo confocal. More studies should be performed to determine the normal reference values for nerve parameters, etc.
