This is a letter to Editor of Cleft Palate Craniofacial J complaining about a paper published in this Journal describing a "new" tecnique for uvular repair during primary palatoplasty in patients with cleft palate. This technique has been used and published by different authors many years ago therefore this is not "new"....

Ethics in scientific publications are in crisis actually. Any innovation should be properly mentioned and assigned. Citation of previous publications in the reference list of any publication is mandatory.
