This paper explains the speech profile of children with Specific Language Impairment who speaks Spanish and Catalan.

Why is it important?

This paper shows that the speech profile of children with Specific Language Impairment (SLI) changes with development, but speech difficulties are still evident at 4 years of age. At 4 years of age children with SLI show difficulties in those more difficult sounds, meanwhile, at 3 years of age, they had shown difficulties mainly in earlier sounds.

Perspectives
