What is it about?
Cardiac diseases are common in systemic lupus erythematosus and maybe the presenting features. But, how often are they associated with the other lupus features? This paper shed the light on the individual association of different cardiac pathologies with different lupus clinical patterns, and identified a possible protection against them with some standard drugs.

This paper gives the prompt to anticipate and search for cardiac abnormalities in the presence of definite clinical indicators and recommends the instant use of some drugs to control them.
Perspectives
This work has helped to increase the awareness about cardiac pathologies in lupus as an integral part of the disease aiming to improve the outcome.
