Why is it important?

This helps understand the factors involved in the growth of thermophilic bacteria in a dairy manufacturing plant and will assist in developing methods to control the growth of these bacteria and reduce the contamination of dairy products.

Perspectives

This study will lead to further investigations exploring the link between ion content and biofilm development.
