Why is it important?

According to our results, total fat, saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids high intakes are associated with increased GD risk.

Perspectives

Some Gallstone Disease risk factors have been identified in many studies, although the influence of diet is still unclear. The identification and control of modifiable risk factors may possibly provide a chance for cholelithiasis prevention.
