What is it about?

In the Pomeranian glaciomarginal zone (especially between end moraine and outwash plain) of NW Poland, three subenvironments of sedimentation have been recognized, with a gradual transition from glacial ice-contact subenvironment through transitional subenvironment to glaciofluvial subenvironment. The present paper focuses on three subenvironments in a glaciomarginal environment (between end moraine and outwash plain). Sedimentological analysis is used to identify the main depositional processes and to reconstruct spatial and temporal changes in that sedimentary environment.
