What is it about?

Since in some cases patients do not show a clear correlation between the mutation in this gene and the level of the coagulation factor (Factor VIII), we have investigated the influence of a specific fator (micro RNA).

Why is it important?

Hemophilia A is one of the most common coagulation diseases.

Perspectives

It is importante that other micro RNAs should be investigated, since this would be helpful in genetic counseling.
