What is it about?

The aim of this article is to know how teachers’ mathematics knowledge for teaching develops during a lesson study regarded as a professional development process that provided special attention to knowledge of tasks, representations and students’ learning. This study is based on the networking of two theories, the Interconnected Model of Teacher Professional Growth (IMTPG) and Knowledge of Mathematics for Teaching (MKT).
