The role of strong ties in empowering women entrepreneurs in collectivist contexts

What is it about?

Commonly strong ties are regarded as less important in entrepreneurship than weak ones. However, in our study of women's entrepreneurship in a collective context, strong ties were found to be very important and provided an ongoing role of support and success.
