This paper examines one of the leading topics today, leadership. Generally, leadership is an important quality that most organizations value heavily as it is one of the primary determents of success. However, there may be different forms of leadership and could be used in various situations.

Why is it important?
Leadership is one of the few concepts that are not strictly dedicated to one eld of study and can be found across many disciplines and virtually in almost any setting. Although this paper has a military aspect, the focus is strictly on leadership and the theories discussed can be used on a wide range of landscapes.
Perspectives
Leadership has been examined from a variety of perspectives over a few decades. In my own opinion, the military is one of the best organizations to study as its nature is based on strong leadership in both the field of combat and administration.
