What is it about?

This article presents an overview of the OECD’s PISA 2012 Problem Solving assessment and why such an assessment is important to an economics-based organization. The assessment examined the capabilities of 15-year olds in 39 nations and 5 large international cities, as well as the Canadian Provinces, to solve a set of problems embedded in 16 contextualized situations.
