What is it about?

GITR is a receptor expressed at high levels by regulatory T cells (Tregs) and activated conventional T cells. The review describes the effects of GITR triggering in physiology and diseases. GITR triggering by antibodies causes death by ADCC of Tregs present inside the tumor and stimulate CD8+ cells.
