What is it about?

This paper looks at how UK PhD students approach the writing of their doctoral thesis. The findings presented are based on interviews with eight PhD students studying at a London university. It looks at themes which help or hinder the writing process, for example supervisory support received. It recommends a strategy of continuous writing to help complete the thesis on time.
