What is it about?

In a CLIL class pupils get much practice in speaking the English language. As a result they may be better prepared for an international career, work or study in a foreign country. They may also feel more at ease when speaking English.

Why is it important?

Our findings show that being a confident user of a foreign language leads to better results. Hence, it is important for language teachers to pay attention to learners' feelings of confidence during the language lessons.
