What is it about?
An over-view of Lerner's poetics of the "virtual" but also an examination of the relationship of novels and poetry in his work, arguing that they must be read together and as in dialogue, forming part of one long serial project, with neither in a position of dominance over the other. Both "Leaving the Atocha Station" and "10:04" are discussed, as well as his writings on poetics that would later appear as "The Hatred of Poetry." Some close readings of the "poetry" as well.
