What is it about?
In order to find out what helped educational psychology services to delivering therapeutic interventions to children and young people, we visited four services that reported effective practice. At each service, we looked at relevant documentation and spoke to educational psychologists and service-users. Findings suggested that contracting and promoting support for mental health; leadership; opportunities to practise; supervision; time and resources; and training were all important factors.
