What is it about?

The antibacterial efficiency of cotton woven fabrics, Co/PET and PP nonwoven fabrics treated with Ag-doped TiO2 nanoparticles produced sol-gel process and chemical reduction process by PDC and electrospray process was investigated.

Why is it important?

The antibacterial activity of the fabric samples against Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus was determined qualitatively and quantitatively. Ag-doped TiO2 nanoparticles produced with the chemical reduction process gave good and durable antibacterial activity for the fabrics for use in wall textiles.
