Why is it important?
Suits' justification for breaking a rule for tactical reasons has puzzled many interpreters. This paper is a close reading of the relevant passage from 'The Grasshopper'.
Perspectives
This topic has important implication for how we play sports today. My position is that the strategic foul is something that must be resisted.
