Why is it important?

The threats to planet earth are so severe that action is needed at all levels. Current systems are complex and often beyond the possibilities of SME's. The model presented in this paper allows them to contribute in a simple way by linking it with quality management.

Perspectives

With this article I wanted to show that any company can positively contribute to sustainability. The three phase model of Awareness, Adoption and Achievement allows any company to participate at whatever level they are and doing so without compromising their financial sustainability.
