The findings help us know how academicians are perceived and it is important in terms of providing the expectations of preschool teachers' and principals' from academicians. It will help to strengthen the cooperation between preschool institutions and universities.

Perspectives

While I was collecting the data of the present research it was great pleasure to see the happiness in the eyes of the participants. Someone was asking them about how they were feeling and what their opinions were about academicians. They couldn't believe that I wanted to know about what they think of us (academicians) and we would do our best if they were asking for any change. They find us very technical so this was a great experience to show and share that we do care how they feel.
