Why is it important?

Disability category and time in inclusive settings have been major issues in special education research, state, local, and federal law for many years. Since the U.S. Supreme Court decision of Endrew F. v. Douglas County Schools there is increased pressure to ensure students with disabilities are making substantive progress in academic outcomes. This student sheds light the relation between time in inclusive settings, disability category and academic achievement.
