Perspectives
Psychophysiological measures have a long history within television studies and have now also made their way into applied research within a public service institution. However, there is a need to reflect upon if there is a limit to how much television production companies and public service providers can demand of respondents in television studies to avoid viewer boredom. One important topic for discussion is the ethical issues in relation to intrusiveness.
