What is it about?
In this paper, we use an advanced real-time time-dependent density functional theory quantum simulation to show that the atomic dynamics of order and disorder in photo-induced phase transitions depend strongly on the competition between deterministic motions caused by photocarriers and random vibrations caused by heat.
