What is it about?
This study aimed to determine the implementation of the guided inquiry model combined with edutainment to increase students' learning interest. This study used a quasi-experimental design. Using Students' learning interest questionnaire the research showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes.

The inquiry model has several steps focused on inquiry processes, presenting a problem identification, formulating hypotheses to solve the problems, encouraging students to collect the data and information, argumentation and making conclusions and reflections. The combination of inquiry with joyful activity, we call edutainment, enhance students ' learning experience in providing students with the opportunity to be creative in pleasant conditions
