What is it about?

Simple equations were introduced in this work that one can make use of them to determine the viscosities of polyatomic hydrocarbon molecules. Thanks to the simplicity of these equations, the calculations can be performed readily on any computer.

Why is it important?

Not many can afford supercomputer to perform scientific calculations or expensive experimental setup. Our theoretical method allows one to determine values of dynamic properties of molecules at a low cost. The tractable expressions introduced in our paper also make our lives easier to understand how fundamental parameters, such as particle size and density, are related to macroscopic dynamic properties.

Perspectives

I wish this article can help people, who do not have resources for their experiments and computations, and yet are still interested in scientific research of molecules. This is because the method introduced in this article is inexpensive.
