What is it about?

This work describes a new device capable of cooling a high pressure device capable of generating in excess of 5 GPa down to 4 K. The complete system has been designed to permit neutron diffraction at these extreme conditions at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source (and adaptable for other facilities) Example data is given from KMnF3 showing the change in magnetic properties at high pressure and low temperature.
