What is it about?

Thermal-electric logic circuits (TELC) are based on the integrated application of thermal-electric active devices (phonsistors). Phonsistor is one special member of neuristor family. In the TELC system two different physical quantities (thermal state, electronic state) act as information carrier.

Why is it important?

The number of components in TELC circuits is half or even less than that of CMOS systems that perform a similar function. The memory effect is an essential property of thermal electrical circuits. The component of TELC, the phonon transistor (phonistor), is much simpler than silicon-based MOS transistors. TELC can probably be integrated into CMOS technology.


I try to explain the thermal-electronic information processing. I hope, it will be accepted and implemented into IC technology soon.
