What is it about?

The ways that we structure practice of vocal motor tasks can influence how a speaker learns a new vocal behavior. We used a lab-based experiment to study the influence of vocalization length and rest time between vocalizations on vocal motor learning. We found that longer vocalizations and more rest time between vocalizations can positively influence vocal motor learning.
